The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary Ranked Among "America's Best Hospitals" and Best in New York Metro Area

New York, NY (July 2011) -- The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary has once again been named one of "America's Best Hospitals" in its two core specialties by US News & World Report.   It is ranked among the nation’s top hospitals for Ophthalmology and Ear-Nose-Throat (Otolaryngology), as well as one of the 10 Best Hospitals overall in the New York Metro area.

The survey assesses hospital care in 16 key medical specialties.  Fewer than 150 out of several thousand hospitals surveyed were named to the prestigious Best Hospitals 2011-2012 roster.
